Who am I

Let me introduce myself, my name is Matt Blackwell, I've been in the Network Security industry for over 18 years, I live in the UK with my family.

What I'm Working on

I'm a full-time Professional Cybersecurity Consultant working for a Global Cybersecurity industry leader. I provide strategic guidance around complex systems to secure digital environments while configuring, implementing, and maintaining Security Operating Platforms.

I'm also a part-time YouTuber where I have been making videos about Palo Alto Networks technologies and most recently turning my hand to blog writing.

Other stuff.

I have a passion for technology, it fascinates me, given the choice I would play with gadgets and gizmos all day long. I own so many toys and have spent thousands on them too! I'm up to my ears in everything Apple, fully invested in the whole Apple ecosystem. I have a Canon DLSR Camera, GoPros, DJI Mavic Pro drone and even my own 3D printer. I would class myself as a creator, I just like making or tinkering with stuff, whether it's computers, networks, firewalls or DIY projects, you name I can do it...well, I think I can!
